The low front-facing design means my son can actually see the covers and pick his own book instead of me digging through a bin. It's sturdy enough that he leans on it constantly without it tipping. Wish we'd bought it a year earlier.

My daughter grabs her own board books now instead of asking me every five minutes. The front-facing shelves make it easy for her to see the covers, and putting them back is apparently part of the fun.

The low height is perfect because my son can grab his own board books without me lifting him. Front-facing shelves keep the covers visible so he actually picks something instead of dumping the whole bin.
